Easy & Transparent Return Process
All deliveries are insured, and you have 24 hours to report any transit damages.

Once a garment is delivered to you, it becomes your responsibility until it is scanned and lodged for return.
❌ 🟥 If the garment is damaged, stained, altered, or mishandled while in your care, refunds cannot be issued.
Additional cleaning, repair or replacement fees may apply according to our Terms & Conditions.

A return or refund request will not be reviewed or approved unless you provide:

• Clear, time-stamped photos of the garment
• Evidence of the issue (e.g., unwearable condition, wrong item delivered)

📷 This allows our team to assess the garment’s condition before it is shipped back or collected.

Refunds may only be considered if:

• The wrong item was shipped EG size, colour, type
• The garment arrives unwearable through no fault of the renter
• The lender fails to ship the garment
• The listing was significantly inaccurate

Designerex will review all evidence and make a determination based on the platform’s Terms & Conditions.

Refunds cannot be provided for:

• 🟥 Change of mind
• 🟥 Incorrect size or poor fit
• 🟥 Event cancellation
• 🟥 Postal or courier delays
• 🟥 Not being available to receive the parcel
• 🟥 Issues resulting from selecting a slower shipping option
• 🟥 Damage occurring after delivery (including ATL deliveries)

These conditions align with standard rental industry policies.

❌ 🟥 Refunds cannot be issued if the garment shows signs of:

• Wear or stretching
• Stains or odours
• Tearing, ripping, or water damage
• Hemming or unauthorised alterations
• Missing components or accessories

🧼 Fees may apply for cleaning, repair, or replacement if returned in unacceptable condition.

When your garment arrives, please inspect it within 24 hours for transit damage or incorrect items.
🔥 🟥 Failure to report issues within 24 hours may void your eligibility for a refund, credit or replacement.
This timeframe is required so DesignerEx can lodge a courier insurance claim.

All garments returned as part of a refund or dispute claim must be:

• Received and inspected by Designerex
• Reviewed against the evidence provided
• Approved before a refund or replacement is issued

Refunds typically take 3–10 business days to appear in your account after approval.

Return shipping will either be:

• Included via a pre-paid satchel provided by the lender, OR
• Paid by the renter (depending on the listing details)

Please lodge all returns over the counter at Australia Post and keep your receipt as proof.

If your garment arrives damaged due to shipping:

• Report it to Designerex within 24 hours of delivery
• Include photos and videos of the packaging and garment

Damage claims outside this timeframe may be declined due to courier insurance requirements.
